This weeks topic of "Crooked" made me think of The Crooked Man poem. I wanted to show the Crooked Man sometime after the purchase of his crooked home..
Here's another image I've created for the word "crooked" .

Well it seems that I've started many Illustration Friday Topics but I never have the time to finish them up. Here's my take on the topic "burst". Also, I've finished last weeks topic too on "imagination", but I didn't have time post it. If any one have any constructive criticism I'd be glad to hear it!

Here's my late entry for imagination. Still working on my digital painting techniques. Pretty neat that there's no clean up or wasted paints to deal with. I still like the feel of more traditional work but you can't beat the ease of a digital medium.

Well, I dusted off my old tablet and I'm continuing to work on my digital painting skills. I thought the attempt went fairly well but I found myself getting involved with the detail too soon. I'd like t try to incorporate some of my loose sketchbook work, and seeing how that may improve the initial layout, possibly making it less tight.

Here's another image I've created with my touch screen. It seems to be working very well and I feel like it's allowing me to explore a more freehand approach to my computer aided drawings. I'll have to start adding color at some point but for now I'll keep it simple.
Here's an additional idea I had for this weeks topic. If I have time I'd like to complete this image in the clay style I've been developing. But for now you can see sketch. I have really been putting my touch screen to the test, and it's been passing with flying colors! I'm finding very frustrating to "paint" in color on the computer as apposed to painting on a canvas or board. I guess I'll just have to keep at it.
